Сыктывкарская Модель ООН 2011 – это ролевая игра, в ходе которой имитируются заседания трех комитетов ООН:
Первый комитет (Вопросы разоружения и международной безопасности)
Второй комитет (Экономические и финансовые вопросы)
Третий комитет (Социальные, гуманитарные вопросы и вопросы культуры)

Конференция проводится республиканской ассоциацией преподавателей английского языка KOMELTA. Рабочие языки – английский и русский (для преподавателей и студентов неязыковых кафедр).
Основные направления конференции:

1.     Исторические аспекты взаимоотношений России и США.
2.     Культурные контакты России и США.
